Summer School for Young Learners (13-18 year olds)

From Monday 11th July 2011 – Friday 2nd September 2011

During the summer months, ECUS hosts a programme of learning with activities for young learners (13 -18 years olds). The programme combines English classes with activities, including cultural and leisure. Please click here to see a sample of a FOUR week Young Learners Summer Programme.

Your English classes will concentrate on the following THREE components:
 

Communication:
Using role plays to develop your vocabulary and improve listening and pronunciation
Grammar:
Improve and build on your skills already gained at your own school
Assignments: Learners will be encouraged to participate in Drama, Music and Presentations

 

 

 


Young Learners Programme:

This will include:

  1. A welcome pack with a map and student IDs
  2. English language course (Elementary – Advanced level) 15 hours per week (Monday – Friday) 3 hours per day; 9.00am – 12.00 noon
  3. Entrance Test, so that you can be placed into the appropriate level
  4. A day and a half of excursions per week
  5. Sports/Cultural activities every afternoon (Monday – Friday)
  6. At least three evenings (Sports/Disco/Film)
Price: £220 per week*

* The price of the programme does not include:

  1. Accommodation
  2. Entrance fee for any places of interest
  3. Public Transport (We advise you to buy a weekly Oyster travel card)

Accommodation

Although accommodation is not included in the price, we may be able to organise accommodation in nearby hostels. Please let us know your requirements at least 8 weeks before taking up your course.
