Learning Support

On joining us at ECUS, you will be assigned a personal tutor who will help you get the most out of your time in School. This is an essential feature of the School. There are as few rules as possible, the emphasis being on common sense, social responsibility and self-discipline. Our aim is that pupils should feel happy and secure so that they can achieve their best at the School. The staff, including the Headmaster, endeavours to build relationships with pupils which are congenial, and based on mutual trust and respect.

Our learning support team can also help you with your work. This help includes support with study skills, help with getting organised, number work, communications and dyslexia support.

Pupils are given a great deal of detailed academic guidance at important stages of their school career, when choosing their GCSE subjects, deciding on their A-level courses, and considering higher education options.
