GCE A Level - Sixth Form


Subjects Available for Study in the Sixth Form

Students usually study Four subjects in the first year, leading to GCE AS qualifications taken at the end of the first year.

Students then drop one of these subjects and take Three to full A-level at the end of the second year. It is also sometimes possible for students to take an extra AS subject in the second year.

The subjects available are:

Accountancy
Economics History
Art and Design
English
Mandarin (Chinese)
Biology
English Literature
Mathematics
Business Studies
French
Physics
Chemistry
Geography
Psychology
Computing Government and Politics Sociology

There is no restriction over choice of subject. Virtually any combination is possible.
 

Scholarships and Bursaries

There is a limited number of Scholarships and Bursaries available to help parents with school fees. These are given for the whole two-year course and are awarded strictly on GCSE results.
