Tuition Fees
ACADEMIC YEAR 2011~2012
Scholarships and Bursaries
Scholarships at Ealing College Upper School are normally awarded at age 11 (Year 7 entry) for pupils who can show that they have an outstanding academic potential. Selection for scholarship is based on the success of the entrance test and an interview that every pupil is expected to take. In certain cases, financial need may be taken into account as a secondary criterion to decide between candidates of approximately equal achievement.
The maximum award that can be made is 50% of the fees, but each award is usually less than this. At 16+, there are a number of Academic Scholarships, generally 5%-20% of the fees, for the two years of sixth form study. Current scholars keep their scholarships until the end of Year 13 (subject to the usual conditions).
At ECUS, there are two types of bursaries available for pupils taking 3 or more A levels; GCSE grades and priority subjects taken at ‘A’ level. In addition, when applying for a bursary you must supply a financial disclosure form.
If you are applying to ECUS for the first time or you are a current student and have achieved 5 GCSEs at grade A, you will be entitled to a prior achievement bursary of £800 whatever you choose to study. You may also be entitled to additional bursary if you enrol on priority subjects.
